1896- Joined the United States Army
1898- Entered Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island
            -member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity
1902- Graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Philosophy
1902- moved to 29 Benevolent St.. Providence, RI
1903- In September he boarded the White Star Line Ship SS Armennia bound for Liverpool, England.
1903- Assistant Headmaster at the Abbott School, Farmington, Maine.
1904- Sports reporter for the Providence Evening Telegram
1905- Sports reporter for Providence Journal
1909- January 9th- married Elna Johnson at the home of Mrs. Eugene Walker in Rumford, RI.
1911- lived at 75 Peace St, Providence, RI .
1911- Helen Elizabeth born on February 23rd.

1926- May 11th- Elected Worshipful Master of the Redwood Lodge, Number 35, of the Masons at the 48th annual communication held at the Freemasons Lodge.

1928- Manager of the World Champion Providence Steam Roller Football Team

 
1930- Retired from the Providence Journal
1934- Ran for State Senate but was defeated by William Troy
1936- Elected City Council for Ninth Ward of Providence, RI
1940- Elected GOP minority Leader.
1950- November 25th- died at Jane Brown Memorial Hospital
